Fundamentals of Liberty Clinic
August 5th and 6th
10653 15-Mile Rd, Evart MI 49631
The Fundamentals of Liberty Clinic is perfect for horse owners and liberty enthusiasts of all levels who are interested in developing a deeper relationship with their equine partner. Whether you are a seasoned at liberty or just starting out, this clinic will give you the tools to build a foundation of trust and respect with your horse.
During this two-day event, you will learn the basics of liberty work, understanding both draw and drive, including how to read your horse’s body language, establish boundaries, and communicate effectively ultimately without the use of tack or physical contact. You’ll gain insight into the horse’s natural herd behavior and learn how to use this knowledge to create a safe and enjoyable training environment.
Each participant will have 1:1 time with Laura during the clinic. In addition to the 1:1 time and hands-on learning, everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized feedback from Laura, who has years of experience working with horses of all breeds and backgrounds.
Not only will you leave the clinic with a deeper understanding of your horse’s behavior and how to communicate with them using liberty horsemanship, but you’ll also have the chance to connect with like-minded horse enthusiasts and build a supportive community.
