Intro to Liberty Clinic
May 7, 2022 1-Day CLINIC
In this clinic, you will be introduced to the techniques and liberty cues while online. These techniques will help you build a better relationship with your horse.
Exercises included in this clinic will focus on both draw and drive, including ‘Find My Shoulder’, ‘The Heel’, Liberty Circles, The Stop Cue, and The Mark.
Clinic Hours: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with one hour for lunch. Lunch is not provided.

Extreme Mustang Makeover
June 22-24th, 2023
Williamson County Ag Expo Park
Franklin, TN
With 100 days to gentle and train a wild Mustang, Laura Baker will compete in Fort Worth with a Mustang. The Mustang is then auctioned off on the last day of the event by the Mustang Heritage Foundation.

Intro to Liberty Clinic
June 25, 2022 1-Day CLINIC
In this clinic, you will learn the various cues and body language for liberty work. Even if you’ve learned these exercises in a previous clinic, it will be helpful for refining technique.

Ground Control for Liberty & Confident Riding
July 2 & 3, 2022 2-Day CLINIC
In order for horses to understand our cues offline, we need to be able to control their 5 body parts online. In this 2-day clinic, participants will learn body control online which not only will lead to liberty training, but will also help create a calm and respectful equine partner. These exercises are good for problem horses, spooky horses, confident riding, and starting under saddle.
Clinic Hours: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. each day with one hour for lunch. Lunch is not provided.
Camping is available on-site at $30/night (with no hook-ups) paid at the event. Bring your own hay. Outdoor stall is included.

Gentling Your New Mustang
July 9, 2022 1-Day AUDIT
Interested in gentling your own Mustang but don’t know where to start? Come watch a live demonstration with a wild Mustang as he begins his education. Auditors will have opportunities to ask questions and watch as Laura begins the gentling process.

Confident Riding Clinic
July 16 & 17, 2022 2-Day CLINIC
This clinic will focus on the keys to helping you build a better foundation and relationship with your horse. Exercises are focused on teaching both the horse and human effective ways to communicate.
Day 1: Participants will work in-hand with their horses, teaching their horses to move all 5 body parts, head/neck, poll, forequarters, rib cage, and hindquarters. Desensitizing the horse and obstacle work will be introduced.
Day 2: Riders will take the fundamentals introduced on the ground and apply them to the saddle, again moving all 5 body parts. Riders will learn how to stop their horse’s feet if they ever feel the need. Additionally, desensitizing under saddle as well as obstacle work will be practiced by participants.

Liberty Fundamentals & Progression of Liberty Clinic
July 30 & 31, 2022 2-Day CLINIC
In this clinic, you will learn the various cues and body language for liberty work. The first day will start with exercises that include both draw and drive, “find my shoulder’, “The Heel”, Liberty Circles, The Stop Cue, and The Mark. Even if you’ve learned these exercises in a previous clinic, this will be helpful for review.
The second day, participants will work on the Reverse Switch, and the Forward Switch in preparation for going offline.
Clinic Hours: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. each day with one hour for lunch. Lunch is not provided.
Camping is available on-site at $30/night (with no hook-ups) paid at the event. Bring your own hay. Outdoor stall is included.

Advanced Liberty & Adding Horses
August 7, 2022 1-Day CLINIC
Interested in advancing your horse through liberty, or adding multiple horses? This 1-day clinic will review and refine liberty with your horse(s) and introduce the method for adding multiple horses. Each horse should already be doing liberty on its own separately before adding as a team.
NOTE: You must have at least two horses performing liberty fairly well before taking this course.

Intermediate Liberty Clinic
August 27-28, 2022 2-Day CLINIC
Participants will need to have completed the Liberty Fundamentals & Progression of Liberty Clinic prior to enrolling in this clinic.
On Day 1, Fundamental online activities will be reviewed, and participants will have an opportunity to go offline with their horse in a round pen.
On Day 2, participants will get to take their liberty to a larger area inside the arena.

Liberty From the Ridden Horse
Sept. 24, 2022 1-Day CLINIC
In this clinic, participants will learn liberty from the ridden horse.
Requirements for this clinic include having a ridden horse with a solid riding foundation, and the ability to ride one-handed. Additionally, the second horse, “liberty horse”, should have a solid liberty foundation when working offline on the ground. Both horses will be needed for this clinic.

***CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVERDAY HORSEMANSHIP: In the event of a cancellation by registrant more than 30 days prior to the start of the scheduled event, a partial refund will be granted. The non-refundable deposit of the first $100 will not be returned. If the cancellation is less than 30 days prior to the event start date, no refund will be granted. A MINIMUM of 2 participants per clinic must be registered within 2 weeks of the scheduled clinic, or the clinic may be canceled. If Laura Baker has to cancel a clinic for any reason, a full refund will be given to all registered for that clinic.
